This morning the 8th grade students picked their own stars on the Star Compass (the stars actually chose us), and learned their significance and location in the night sky Northern and Southern Hemispheres for navigating.

We are all Stars in Room 8. Stop by to see the Star Compass we designed in the center of the floor. Nainoa Thompson created 4 Star Lines to help Apprentice Navigators learn the stars. We have divided our class into the Star Lines.

Passion is the theme for the 2nd Quarter in 8th Grade. We are passionate about learning, about living and about life.
